A Geek Girls Guide To The AEK II

One of my most favourite vintage keyboards is the Apple Extended Keyboard II from the Macintosh II and SE era of the late 1980s. It is a height adjustable, full sized keyboard and it is featuring the rainbow coloured apple logo as well as, in some models, mechanical ALPS switches. Since it requires quite a lot time to research all the things about those keyboards, I decided to sum up and share my knowledge and a few resources on these awesome boards.

Adventures On An Abandoned Mac

I got my hands on a 2012 Mac Mini, nobody was really doing work with anymore, today. To prevent it from getting covered in dust and living a hardware afterlife in a drawer of a Berlin office building, I asked if I am allowed to take it home with me. I initially thought of replacing my rather beefy home server (I have radius, a VPN and a media centre running amongst a 3D printing interface and some render applications) with it.
